Puncak Sukses di Bidang Penjualan


Sebelum kita diskusikan bagaimana caranya menjadi peraih prestasi puncak sukses di bidang penjualan sekarang ini, penting sekali kita definisikan dulu “Puncak” tersebut. Banyak pelaku bisnis di bidang penjualan dalam hal ini pelaku bisnis baik bisnis online maupun offline yaitu pramuniaga banyak yang keliru memandang hal-hal eksternal sebagai puncak sukses. Memang, pramuniaga sukses meraih penghasilan yang menyanggupinya membeli kemewahan, tetapi hal-hal eksternal bukanlah yang mereka pandang puncak sukses profesi mereka di bidang penjualan. Hal-hal eksternal seperti uang dan penghargaan adalah efek samping sukses, tetapi meraihnya bukanlah berarti anda meraih puncak sukses. Pramuniaga top itu memandang puncak sukses lewat lensa yang sama sekali lain. Sesungguhnya, puncak mereka ada di gunung yang sama sekali lain.

Para pelaku bisnis di bidang penjualan itu memandang puncak sukses sebagai produk dari terus menerus meningkatkan diri, terus mengasah kemampuan serta kemahiran mereka, terus meningkatkan standar di bidang bisnis penjualan pilihan mereka. Sesungguhnya, ketika orang sukses itu tidak meningkatkan diri, mereka tidaklah sukses.


Mudah sekali menjadi yang rata-rata, jauh lebih mudah lagi berdiam diri ketimbang mendaki, jauh lebih mudah lagi ketimbang naik. Pokoknya janganlah meningkatkan diri sepanjang karir anda. Berusaha-lah menghindari prospek Kegagalan. Jadilah ahli mengerjakan segalannya dengan cara seperti yang sudah. Itu lebih leluasa. Atau lebih baik lagi, terus lah mengerjakan apa yang dikerjakan mayoritas. Telepon lah dengan cara yang sama. Dekatilah calon klien/ konsumen/ member bisnis anda dengan cara yang sama. Berikanlah prestasi dengan cara yang sama. Lalu kemudian tepislah segala masalah dan frustrasi anda itu sebagai resiko perkerjaan anda di bidang penjualan untuk menggapai puncak sukses anggap saja itu bagian dari dunia penjualan yang keras jika ingi berhasil dan merebut kesuksesan.

Kalau cara pikir anda seperti itu, anda tidak akan pernha mencapai puncak sukses di bidang penjualan sebab pandangan anda terhalang. Jarak anda yang sekarang di bidang penjualan dari puncak itu bukan lah diukur dari uang yang melimpah di rekening bank anda. Itu tidak bisa di lihat dengan mata kepala anda. Jarak anda dari puncaknya kesuksesan itu di ukur dari seberapa jauh anda menerapkan Stop Dreaming Start Action semenjak penjualan anda yang terakhir melonjak, atau justru kegagalan anda yang terakhir. Dan terkadang pendakian terbesar justru terjadi menyusul keselahan terbesar. Oleh karena itu di perlukan kemampuan otak menjadi sang visioner agar mampu mewujudkan kesuksesan walaupun kemampuan tersebut tidak semua orang memiliki termasuk saya pemilik blog online business ini.

Lanjutan Mengenai Kegagalan di Bidang Penjualan


Masih lanjutan artikel sebelumnya yang berjudul Persepsi Tentang Kegagalan Bisnis Versi John.CM, yaitu mengapakah anda enggan menelpon?? Sebab pendekatan anda terhadap penjualan itu melahirkan ketidak percayaan dan anda pun mengetahuinya. Kebanyakan orang tidaklah terlalu bodoh untuk memberikan uang yang susah serta sulit mereka raih itu kepada seseorang yang belum pernah mereka jumpai, apalagi orang yang belum mereka percayai.

Sederhananya, keengganan menelepon adalah kecenderungan alami untuk menghindari prospek ditolak; dan dalam contoh ini, itu berarti tidak mau menelepon orang yang belum mempunyai alasan apa pun untuk mempercayai anda, lalu berusaha meyakinkannya untuk membeli sesuatu yang bahkan belum tentu dibutuhkannya. Mudah sekali dilihat mengapa banyka pramuniaga itu enggan mengangkat teleponnya setiap hari, bukan?


Dan sementara profesi di bidang penjualan telah cukup berhasil menyamarkan praktek menelpon kesembarang nomor itu dengan alasan sudah dilacak dulu sebelumnya, sesungguhnya keengganan menelepon itu tetap ada bahkan ketika anda menghubungi ke nomor acak, entah itu hasil lacakan anda sendiri atau diberikan kepada anda. Itu karena anda tetap saja mendengar lebih banyak orang berkata “Tidak” ketimbang “Ya”, dan pikiran anda sudah terlanjur di programkan untuk sebisa mungkin menjauhkan “Tidak” alias jangan sampai target anda gagal atau mengalami kegagalan.

Renungkanlah sejenak wahai saudaraku Rusli Zainal Sang Visioner,.. ech maksudnya anda (maklum masih nuansa kontes rusli zainal dari riau.. hixk) profesi di luar bidang penjualan. Sesungguhnya, renungkan lah yang bukan bisnis sama sekali, maka akan anda temukan bahwa pikiran kita cederung bereaksi sama terhadap potensi ditolak, apa pun situasinya. Dalam hal ini adalah kesuksesan maupun kegagalan di bidang penjualan menurut persepsi masing-masing. (Bersambung..)

Bertentangan dengan apa yang mungkin anda duga, sukses menjual berkat kepercayaan bukanlah soal menghindari kesalahan. Perjalanan sukses itu syarat dengan kegagalan. Lebih lanjut, memelihara bisnis yang dapat dipercaya, yang sukses, belum tentu adalah soal labih jarang gagal daripada yang lain. Sesungguhnya, biasanya orang yang paling sukses itulah yang lebih sering gagal daripada kebanyakan orang. Ketika berbicara kepada para professional di bidang penjualan, saya biasanya mengajukan pertanyaan yang membangkitkan tawa disusul banyak orang yang mengangkat tangannya. Pertanyaannya adalah: berapa banyak kah diantara orang yang mengalami “keengganan menelpon”?? boleh dikata setiap professional di bidang penjualan yang melewatkan waktunya di telepon – dan itu adalah kebanyakan orang, karena disanalah kebanyakan penjualan itu dimulai, - pernah megalami kegagalan bisnis penjualan itu dimulai, pernah mengalami keengganan menelepon.

How I Started My Business


I was sitting in a truck, not mine; I was driving my ridiculous boss around that day like some sort of servant. There I was at a traffic light in downtown Manhattan… miserable, very irritable and completely at loss as to what I was doing with my life. My band had collapsed because of my inability to stay focused and my marriage was strained because I was working 40 hours plus a week for an unreasonable human being.

At that light, I watched people walk by. Some ultra cool New Yorkers with their ultra hip street wear; others were just going to their next meeting in their Banana Republic dress wear. Everyone’s life seemed so much better.


The red “Don’t Walk” people-outlines started their usual cautious blink cycle.

I decided right there to snap out of it. I could leave this life – I didn’t have to be these people walking by me because we all know that their lives can’t be that good. But no, I was going to do something about this.

So I did. I eventually left that job, began teaching guitar, bought more studio gear and began writing a business plan. Three years later –yes three years later- I am on the verge of opening up my first business. In fact, I am three weeks away.

The past three years have been long, poor and extremely difficult but completely worth it. There is something to be said about digging deep within yourself to come up with something special and it usually comes with a price. I paid for it with years of being really creative about paying the rent, really trying to be creative about spending cash- I wore the same clothes for three years.

My advice to everyone- be patient and be creative. Make something out of nothing. Look failure in its face and look just past it. Also
  1. When looking for start up money add everything up. Double check your math. Once you are sure that your number is what you need- double it.
  2. When looking for how long it will take to do the construction on your place of business, figure it out and then double it.
I’m learning something everyday. Don’t be afraid to learn something new everyday.

3. Avoid writing in the first person. This means you should avoid using sentences such as “I did this” etc.

4. Don’t use a closing paragraph. You want to draw the reader in so that they continue reading the current article and then move on to read more. Avoid using closing paragraphs such as:

“Thank you for your time, but that’s all from me today...”. This kind of paragraph will probably make the reader skip past your resource box. You should use the actual resource area as your closer.

5. Your resource box should be attractive and entice the reader to click on your link. One of the most successful ways of doing this is to offer some kind of benefit to the reader. Remember , try not to write in the first person.

6. When you write your article try to cut to the chase immediately. Many article marketing for home business articles are padded out with useless information which will cause the reader to lose interest and move on. A great way of cutting to the chase is to use tips and how to content. A reader’s interest is a ticking clock and the time you have to hold their interest is very short. 1.Join an Online Discussion Business Group

There are any number of discussion groups and bulleting boards on the Internet.
